God’s Helpful Hand
The happy times come,
And do fill the home.
But sad times come too
Out of the dark hateful hole.
Why must we miss
What we just cannot have.
Happy times we do miss
As we want what we had.
To live for each day,
May feel like its hell,
But if you really do try,
You’ll see God’s there to help.
There really is more
Hard times we can bare,
And with God’s helping hand,
More happiness we’ll share.
With God’s loving hand,
You’ll have more happy than sad.
Just pray as you fight
For the good to outweigh the bad.

God’s Road
I really want to know
What God has planned for me.
What roads are there to take?
The map is hard to see.
The road of life has bumps
Some rocks, some beds and hills.
Sometimes those roads will crack,
But sometimes those cracks get filled.
God has a way to go.
He has a simple goal.
The problems that we face
Are like a highways toll.
We have to pay the price
For some of the roads we take.
Even if that toll is steep,
There’s more than cash at stake.
All of our love and trust
Must be placed in God above.
The roads with tolls to pay
Are still guarded with His love.
A person is never lost.
The map just can’t be seen.
The road of life is right,
But on God we still must lean.
When the journey ends,
We will see we took the road
That still had the smoother ride
Cause God lightened up our load.
The roads were always better,
Although then we could not see.
God held our hands or carried us
For nothing is stronger than He.

God’s Strength
If God had made
Each man the same –
Would the Jews have died in Hitler’s flame?
If God had made
Each man alike –
Would slaves have suffered their hateful hike?
If God created
Men identical –
Would man have tried to live life so full?
Each person has had
A terrible race,
But in the end we’ll see God’s face.
When that time has come
We can ask Him why –
Throughout our lives, he made us cry.
He will say to us,
“My child hurt no longer.”
“Those tears you shed, have made you stronger.”

Love’s Seed
Our love will grow like nature, with the Lord in the lead.
Like a flower in the forest, our love grew from a seed.
Although rain may fall, the sun dries the tears.
Like the great oak tree, love gains strength throughout years.
Seasons pass, the leaves will change, and the leaves will fall,
But God is in control, and will guide us through it all.
When our love has grown as strong as the great oak tree,
A new seed will be planted from you and from me.
Just like a tree we will raise the new life with love.
We will teach them all we know, and trust the Lord above.
The love will grow like nature, with the Lord our God in the lead.
Like a flower in the forest, our love grows from a single seed.

Strength
The strong wind does blow
The night grows dark
No lights on at home
No kids in the park.
The leaves now rustle
The clouds move in.
No movement in town.
No sound of a pin.
The thunder does bellow.
The lightning does strike.
No lights come on.
No one riding a bike.
The storm strikes land.
The rain hits ground.
No one scared running.
No fear can be found.
The strength of God here.
The power He shows.
No reason to wake.
No fear ever grows.
The storm is now done.
The peace is now here.
No life left un-nurtured.
No on shedding a tear.
The storm seemed so strong.
The strength that we awed.
No stronger strength seen.
No one stronger than God.

Paths
God is quiet so you say.
But God is with us every day.
He clears a path for us to take.
It depends on the choice we make.
He cannot choose the road we take.
He waits to see the choice we make.
If we go down the harder roads,
He is there to carry our loads.
God will clear a new path for us.
For all the righteous and the just.
Some day we will surely find
The road to take with peace of mind.
God is here with us today.
He can make the day okay.
When we choose the path that’s wrong,
He carries us until we’re strong.
God is quiet but with us now.
He is here to show us how…
How to hand this very day.
We need to listen to find the way
