Doctor, Doctor!

The pain I feel is so severe
it has to be the worst pain here!
The pain it throbs inside and out!
It hurts the worst I have no doubt.
The others seem to have no pain.
My pains the worst I’m not insane!
Joey says his pain’s not gone,
But I still hurt to even yawn!
Now Kim just gets to wear that wig,
But I have pain that is so big!
And look at Peter over there
he just rides that great big chair!
Tommy gets to rest all day!
I hurt too much to even lay.
The doctor has not told me why…
why I hurt so much I cry.
The pain just has to be the worst!
Why can’t the doctor see me first?
The boy gets crutches so he can play,
but I hurt more than I can say!
Oh doctor please just come see me.
I hurt the worst why can’t they see!
Oh, here he comes to see me now!
My pain’s the worst I shout out loud.
The doctor slowly takes his time,
Just to say that I’ll be fine!
I shout it hurts from toe to ear!
The doctor says don’t shed a tear.
I see the scratch upon your knee.
It is the size of one small pea.
Just put a bandage on right there,
and help the ones who need more care

Now they’re broken bones or cancer wig
makes your scratch seem not so big.
Peter cannot even walk
and Tommy now will never talk.
You do not need to whine all day,
when you think of pain their way.
There probably is still quite a few
that are so much worse than you.
So think of them, and take your time
to see that you are really fine.
